Your child will play, explore and create in beautifully fresh, natural environments that foster curiosity and imagination.  Working closely in partnership with you we believe that we can give your child the very best early years journey.

Our Environment

We believe that the environment is a crucial aspect of our provision and we are extremely proud of our recently refurbished environments.  Inside we have clean, cool and calming rooms where we focus on providing wide-ranging natural resources which encourage the children to explore and take charge of their own learning.  

Outdoors offers a completely different experience for the children.  The fresh new artificial grassed area lends itself to more physical activites where the children are encouraged to climb, balance, stretch and jump to their full potential.  Endless possibilities present themselves outdoors and we ensure we access this area all year round, marvelling in the changing seasons.  From ice mounds in winter to water channels in summer, the children are encouraged at all times to explore, learn and develop resilience through change.

If all of this is not enough we also have our very own woodland area known as The Spinney.  This area is a wonderland for the children as the trees create a whole new world to explore at any time of the year.

Transitions

We work closely with our reception teachers to ensure a seamless transition for the children to the next exciting stage in their journey.  Transition visits take place during the late stage of the summer term before children move up to reception.
